Home Build Teams support long-term recovery after disasters; communities affected by these catastrophes often face great need long after the crisis has passed. Work usually starts 6-12 months after a disaster; IOCC teams sometimes keep coming back for years, depending on the need.

Home Build Teams work in partnership with organizations such as: –Habitat for Humanity –Disaster Recovery Support Initiative (DRSI) –Volusia Interfaith/Agencies Networking in Disaster (VIND), –Team Rubicon (disaster response to help reintegrate veterans back into civilian life).
